Alcatraz Island
Within the San Francisco Bay Area the most famous and beautiful landforms are the Alcatraz Island, the amazing view of the Pacific Ocean and let’s not forget the amazing golden gate bridge!
Yosemite Half Dome
In the Yosemite National Park famous landforms are able to see the Sierra Mountains. The Half dome is one of the most challenging climbs in Yosemite National Park. Within the park there are views of Yosemite Valley.
Death Valley
The landforms in the Death Valley are mountains all over the canyon filled with snow. Death Valley is at a 282 feet below sea level. It is in the middle of the two mountain ranges, those being; the Panamint Range and the Amargosa Range. Some people go to be around the sand dunes, salt flats, and the Salt Creek.
Lake Tahoe (Sierra Nevada Mountains)
Last but not least, within Lake Tahoe it is in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It is not fully located in the state of California but most of it is. Lake Tahoe is a 6,225 feet above sea level. Within the United States, Lake Tahoe is one of the deepest; the depth being of 1,645 feet.
