What's the weather like?
The climate in California varies within the way it is divided; North California, San Francisco Bay Area, Central Valley, and Southern California. In some parts of California it can be either windy, rainy, sunny, and cloudy and so on.
The county that make up North California are those that are on the north of San Luis Obispo adding to that the Bay Area. There are 28 counties, some being; Sacramento, Fresno, Tehama, Glenn, Modoc and Nevada. The climate throughout the year depends strongly on the time of the year. In spring and fall the temperature is around the 70’s, during the summer it is above the 80’s, and in winter they are from the 50’s through the 60’s.
In the San Francisco Bay Area the weather is usually cold. During the months of September and October it is very sunny. During the winter it is rainy and the temperature is around 30 degrees through 40 degrees. Some summers the weather is still chilly around 50 degrees to 60 degrees.
The central valley is made up by the following counties; Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Tulare. The central of California is known to being sunny most of the time The climate is a semi-arid Mediterranean. During the summer the temperature goes beyond 100 degrees. During the winter the temperature goes below 30 degrees at night time and 60 degrees in the day.
The Southern California is made up by the following counties; San Bernardino, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego and Riverside. The weather tends to be the same throughout the year. There is only rain during the winter and in the beginning of spring. During the summer the temperature tends to above 90 degrees. The temperature hardly goes below 60 degrees.
